The difference between Kickstarter and Pre-Order OP family. Key answers to questions about changing or editing your order

PRE-ORDER, KICKSTARTER AND ORDER INFORMATION

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that Origami Paddler used to get the support needed to bring Tim’s idea to life.
Kickstarter backers pledged money to the campaign with a Kickstarter account with the risk of the Origami Paddler never coming to fruition.
Luckily for us all, it has!
The Kickstarter campaign ended last September and we were so stoked to have broken the record for the most successful watercraft campaign EVER! When we say our Origami Paddler family is the best - we mean it!
 
Shortly after, we opened up pre-orders to everyone on the Origami Paddler website.
So if you ordered an Origami Paddler without a Kickstarter campaign (or you didn’t know what Kickstarter is) then your order puts you in the website pre-order group!

We have different policies whether the orders came from our Kickstarter Campaign or thereafter through our Shopify presence.

 

For ALL OP Family, we cannot:

Split Orders (sending part of one order to an address, and the other part of a different address)

Accept more than one form of payment

Because of the nature of our current production and fulfillment process, we cannot guarantee any specific delivery date, or changes to your order once your survey is submitted or order made.

We will do our very best to accommodate every change, but sometimes a request is made too late and your order has already been processed for fulfillment. We are still willing to work with you when this happens, please continue the conversation with support@origamipaddler.com and we will find a solution! 

 

 KICKSTARTER PLEDGES

When you made a pledge, you were only charged for the price of the Paddler and any included accessories. You were not charged for shipping, nor did we collect the shipping address information. 

We have since surveyed everyone in the US, Canada, and most of Europe to get your shipping cost and offer our wheeled cart for purchase. 

 

 SHOPIFY ORDERS

When placing a Pre-Order, you will be required to provide certain information, such as your address and billing information. You represent and warrant that all such information is accurate, and it is up to you to ensure that such information is kept current.

We will send you a notice before the product is shipped so that you can select your Origami color if you have not already and give you a chance to update the information.

PreOrder OPFamily can no longer add to their existing order to add the cart or other accessories, these need to be new orders.
