The hull sections of the Origami are made of&#xA0; Grade 5 plastic that is UV Protected, Durable HighDensity Polyethylene (HDPE) that is recyclable. Origami Paddler hinges are made of special industrial-grade nylon with salt water-rated stainless steel screws.
 
Once we are in full production we will be releasing our full plan and resources for recycling the Origami when it is ready to move to the next life.
We are still working and researching ways to make the Origami even more sustainable, but being made of recycled plastic isn&apos;t a viable option yet! Soon we hope!
 
We do know that Preserve already has a program to support recycling this kind of plastic. &#xA0;&#xA0;
