I think water is getting into my boatUpdated 2 years ago

There are two potential ways for water to enter your boat. One is through an improperly installed drain plug and the other is through faulty blow plugs.

We would like to walk you through a test to determine which one is causing your boat to take on water.

First, please locate the blow plugs (the larger black plugs) on your Origami Paddler.

They should be sealed to the boat and you should not be able to remove them. There should be a small area where you can pour water over the top of them. The water should pool on top and stay put. If it drains into the blow plugs, then we know they are not properly sealed.

If water does not enter your boat from this test, please ensure that your drain plugs are properly installed before using your Origami Paddler. You can learn more about how to install your drain plugs here.
