While you can surf with the Paddler, it is generally not designed for waves over a meter high.

The greater the wind and the higher the waves, the less stable the Paddler will become.

The stability also decreases with the weight on the craft. If you choose to paddle in rough water or surf, we recommend you paddle with a buddy and use an ankle leash to make sure you don’t become separated from your craft.

We recommend that you initially try out the Origami and get comfortable with it in calm water. Your abilities and luck should determine where and how you use the Origami. You should always be aware of and vigilant about the water.
